The trick: One person = everyone

It judges a whole group by one person's act.

“they ran a video of the Palestinians in Gaza celebrating the nearly 3,000 lives that were murdered on 9/11”

The Reel uses footage of a small crowd in East Jerusalem to make a sweeping claim about all Palestinians.

What the Reel doesn't tell you

The news footage depicted a small gathering in East Jerusalem, not a widespread public celebration across Gaza.
CNN and Reuters confirmed that the 9/11 celebration video was shot on September 11, 2001, in East Jerusalem by a Reuters camera crew (CNN).
Snopes documented that Palestinian Authority officials moved to restrict footage of street celebrations to avoid mischaracterizing general Palestinian sentiment (Snopes).

How it plays you

It wants you to think: “Therefore, all Palestinians celebrate the deaths of Americans.”

Footage of a small group of people in East Jerusalem does not represent the actions or feelings of all Palestinians.
