Delhi cop Ankit Kasana faked injuries as staged propaganda?

Constable Ankit Kasana was arrested in a 2023 robbery case and dismissed from the police, but the Delhi High Court later quashed the FIR and a tribunal ordered his reinstatement. Following a recent protest where Rahul Gandhi was detained, Kasana stated that 30 to 40 people surrounded and beat him. Claims that the police reinstated him specifically to stage fake incidents, or that he faked his injuries during the protest, remain unproven.
