The Reel says
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 6.4.18 is a metaphor, not about meat?
The Reel falsely claims that Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 6.4.18 uses eating meat merely as a metaphorical example. In fact, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 6.4.18 explicitly states that if one desires a learned son, he should eat rice cooked with the meat of a vigorous bull. Regarding YouTuber Dhruv Rathee's related video, complainant Amita Sachdeva alleges he distorted scriptures and mocked Sanatan Dharma. The Grievance Appellate Committee has ordered the video's removal in India, while a plea seeking its global removal remains pending before the Delhi High Court.

How it plays you
It wants you to think: “Dhruv Rathee intentionally distorts Hindu scriptures to brainwash his audience.”
Rathee's reading aligns directly with literal translations and classical Sanskrit commentaries, whereas the Reel's claimed 'context' relies entirely on an incorrect AI chatbot output.
- Appeal to flawed authority: “ChatGPT है, Gemini है इनसे normally पूछ लीजिए। यह थोड़ी बहुत जानकारी तो रखते ही हैं आपसे ज्यादा तो बता देंगे।”. It tells viewers to trust generic AI chatbot outputs as definitive scriptural scholarship, despite AI tools hallucinating interpretations that contradict primary Sanskrit commentaries.
- Loaded language: “कितनी जल्दी आराम से mind wash हो रहा है।”. It uses accusations of 'brainwashing' to make a literal scriptural citation sound like a deliberate, deceptive plot.
