Kejriwal's past voter complaints prove his governance protests are hypocritical?
Checked 19 Oct 2026
The shared video accurately reflects that Arvind Kejriwal previously claimed Delhi's voter rolls contained around eight lakh duplicate or fake votes, and he is currently protesting the recent voter list revision. However, the clip leaves out crucial context: the present protests stem from the deletion of 47.6 lakh voters during the Special Intensive Revision. The AAP alleges this process wrongly marked millions of genuine voters as shifted or absent.

How it plays you
It wants you to think: "Arvind Kejriwal is hypocritical for opposing voter roll revisions when he previously demanded duplicate voters be removed."
Demanding the removal of duplicate cards is consistent with opposing an intensive revision that deleted 47.6 lakh voters, including genuine residents erroneously marked as dead or shifted.
- Satirical movie editing: "Delhi BJP targets Kejriwal in a sharp satirical video edit using the movie Nayak scenes.". Intercuts movie scenes of a fictional journalist confronting a politician to make archival political statements look like a present-day admission of guilt.
