Checked 15 Oct 2026 · Updated 17 Oct 2026
Re-checked 15 Oct 2026: first published as Misleading, now Not proven in court.
Former minister Anand Sen Yadav was accused by the victim's father, Yogender Prasad, of kidnapping his daughter, leading Prasad to file an FIR against Sen and two others. Sen later spent time in prison following his initial conviction. However, the Allahabad High Court ultimately acquitted Anand Sen of the homicide charges. The claim that he committed the murder remains unproven.
