MisleadingTrick: Guilty by linkThe book 'Grihasth Mein Kaise Rahen' by Swami Ramsukhdas does indeed contain disturbing passages advising women to stay quiet after rape and view domestic abuse as karmic debt. However, the book is published by Gita Press, an independent publishing house founded in 1923, not the RSS. Framing the book's contents as an official 'RSS rape policy' misrepresents the source of the text.

What we checked
What the Reel doesn't tell you
- Gita Press is an independent publishing trust founded in 1923 whose publications are not official RSS policy documents.
What each side says
How it plays you
It wants you to think: "The RSS maintains an official organizational policy instructing women to remain silent after sexual assault."
Gita Press is an independent publishing trust, not the RSS. Stocking or selling a book does not make its contents an official policy document of the organization.
- Guilt by association: "आरएसएस की book stalls पर सब में बिकती है ये किताब". It uses the fact that a book is stocked at stalls to falsely equate the author's words with the official doctrine of the organization selling it.
- Loaded language: "RSS RAPE POLICY". It attaches an inflammatory headline to provoke emotional outrage and prime the viewer to accept the leap in logic.
